How does the One Autism Health platform work?

One Autism Health provides convenient and reliable access to autism care providers and resources through a centralized platform. Users can create profiles for searching for support or as an autism care provider. Autistic individuals and their families can search for and connect with nearby resources and services/places, while specialized care providers can offer their services and expertise.​

What resources are available through the platform?

The platform provides access to a vast range of resources, including:

>  Autism-friendly locations.
>  Educational materials and workshops on autism care.
>  Therapists, counselors, and specialists experienced in autism care.
>  Information on government programs and financial assistance.

What’s an autism-friendly place?

An autism-friendly place is an environment, location, or establishment that has been intentionally designed and adapted to accommodate and support individuals with autism. The aim of creating autism-friendly spaces is to make them more inclusive, accessible, and comfortable for people with autism, reducing sensory overload and promoting a positive experience for them and their caregivers.​

Though our platform primarily serves US and Canada, our partnerships are global*.​​ In the US/Canada, the platform is primarily designed for these user groups:

>  Caregivers: This includes parents, guardians, and family members caring for individuals with autism.
Specialized Care Providers: Professionals with expertise in autism care, such as therapists, counselors, and caregivers specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and other evidence-based interventions.​
>  Schools and Towns: Special needs experts in the school system looking to connect with providers and autism-friendly places.​
Autism-Friendly Places: For any business* who considers itself as autism-friendly (e.g. bakery, coffee shop, restaurant, etc. ) and want to serve the autism community.​​

Is One Autism Health platform available for individuals with autism?

Absolutely! The platform has been designed for individuals with autism. If questions, please contact a parent/guardian or your caregiver first.​

How secure is the platform and my information?​​​

Is the platform free to use?

The platform is free to use, giving access to essential resources and functionalities. We just ask that you create a profile for secure login access. Premium services are available by request only.

How can specialized caregivers join the platform?

Specialized care providers can apply to join the platform by submitting their qualifications, experience, and credentials for verification through our Contact Us form. Our team will review within 48 hours and once approved, providers can create a profile and start offering their services to users seeking specialized care.

Can users of the platform rate and review caregivers and resources?

Yes, users can leave ratings and reviews based on their experiences with caregivers and resources. In fact, we highly encourage it!  These reviews contribute to the platform’s community-driven approach, helping others make informed decisions.

What differentiates you from other healthcare directories, ratings or care apps?

One Autism health started as a personal venture. Our founder struggled with finding quality care and resources for her son and knew there had to be a better way. For/by autistic individuals and their families, One Autism Health offers specific and targeted information for autism whole-person care (not general care or general autism directory). Our information is provided primarily by families, autism authorities, and reliable data sources so it can be used by other families to enhance autism care. ​

Are you using AI?

Our approach is rooted in the belief that combining human insights with AI capabilities creates a truly inclusive and user-friendly experience for individuals with autism and their caregivers.​

Are you USA only or global?

At the moment, we are mainly focused in the USA and Canada. We know that autism is a global problem, and we look forward to expanding our platform to support all those dealing with autism.​

What if I want to edit or add data?

We take data integrity extremely seriously. In addition, we believe that data quality is continually enhanced by the autism community, so we are always open to feedback and editing suggestions.  You can visit our Contact Us section to suggest an edit/add or provide additional comments. We will review your suggestions and will respond within 48 hours.​

Are you now available on the Apple Store, Google Play or Samsung?
